Ahmet is an Executive Director & Co-Founder of Affinity Intercultural Foundation, which was formed in 2001.
Ahmet is a passionate community worker and has been instrumental in proposing and delivering on programs that will help enhance cross-cultural understanding. He has been socially active with over 20yrs experience in the area of education, social welfare and helped mentor youths through difficult periods of their lives.
In 2012 he was appointed by the NSW Government to be a NSW ANZAC Centenary Ambassador. He is also an active contributor to the NSW Muslim Australian Reference Group formed.
He consults to local media organisations and has presented on the Australian civic integration experience at various local and international forums.
Ahmet holds a Bachelors of Telecommunications Engineering degree from UTS and is completing a Islamic Sciences Masters degree with ISRA through CSU.
