Farzanah Ally is a senior lawyer having worked for many years in the private sector as an intellectual property lawyer, for top tier law firms including DLA Piper and HWL Ebsworth. Understanding the needs of her business clients by providing proactive advise and innovative real commercial legal solutions that add value to her clients’ businesses, has always been her focus.

Farzanah is currently CEO of the rapidly internationally expanding and innovative Australian brand “babyhood”; manufacturing baby and nursery products for the retail sector and the largest supplier of nursery products for the childcare sector in Australia. She manages the expansion and development of leading baby and nursery products brands including babyhood, Nuna, Amani Bebe and Carriwell – from the inception of product ideas, to design, safety compliance and best practice, rigorous testing, quality assurance in manufacture and supply; to advertising and PR and finally to sales and distribution throughout Australia and internationally including South Africa, New Zealand, Malaysia, Philippines, Ireland and the UK.

Farzanah has combined her legal and business expertise to support community services for social justice advocacy in Australia. This has been largely through her role as Trustee of The Islamic Charitable Trust (Kuraby Mosque) and children’s learning center, Amanah Institute. Farzanah is often a guest speaker at various events including legal symposiums, international women’s day forums and has presented to the judiciary at their annual conference to raise awareness of the contributions we can all make in creating a more just and harmonious community.
